1. Apply one to two pumps onto clean skin and gently pat into skin for optimal absorption.
2. Apply daily, morning and night, and follow with moisturizer. (Following morning application, apply sunscreen.)
3. For sensitive skin types, use three to four times per week and gradually increase usage.
4. For maximum potency, store in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight.

Once the dual-encapsulated vitamin C is absorbed, natural enzymes found in our skin slowly release them one layer at a time.  The slow release minimizes skin irritation and protects the water-soluble vitamin C longer, thus making it more effective. This way your skin isn’t overwhelmed with vitamin C and can use it more effectively. Including multiple different oil and water-soluble layers in this formula means better skin absorption as well!

Are there any other ingredients to avoid when using this serum?

Guava Serum is totally safe and gentle to use in a routine with other Glow Recipe products! When it comes to mixing with high percentage retinoids or chemical exfoliants, we recommend patch testing first before using them together. You can always use Guava Serum in your morning skincare routine, and use other actives at night too.

Can I use it day and night?

Yes, Guava Serum is safe to use twice a day! If you’re new to vitamin C serums or have sensitive skin, we recommend using it 3-4 times a week and gradually increase the usage. During the day, always remember to wear SPF!

What skin type is this suitable for?

Guava Serum is suitable for all skin types looking to target dark spots and hyperpigmentation, even out the skin tone, and get an antioxidant boost! It has been clinically-tested and proven non-comedogenic, and tested to be safe for sensitive skin. Always be sure to do a patch test before using new products all over the face!

Does it contain fragrance?

Guava Serum does not contain added fragrance, however there is a natural fresh scent due to the skin-beneficial plant extracts in the formula. It is also 100% free of essential oils!
